Our stay at Ruth's Retreat was absolutely wonderful. The log cabin was spacious, clean, and beautifully modern. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from board games to a hot tub. The location was perfect, offering tranquility while still being a short drive away from restaurants and shops in town. Ruth was a fantastic host, providing helpful recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be recommending this hidden gem to our friends and family.

Everything else was top-notch though. The cabin was spacious, modern, and clean. The location was great, with easy access to the city center. And let's not forget the hot tub! It was a dream come true. A great place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring.

We were disappointed to discover that the hot tub had CCTV cameras installed, making us feel uneasy about our privacy. We believe that a simple waiver would be sufficient to address any concerns about misuse of the hot tub, rather than compromising the privacy of guests.

We have just returned from 4 nights at Ruth's Wonderful Retreat and everything was absolutely PERFECT. Ruth and Dean made us feel so very welcome. The lodge was fantastic, everything you needed and finished to a very high standard. The views were wonderful and the hot tub was amazing. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We spent 2 full days just enjoying the lodge. It's now one of Our Favourite Places to be and we will definitely be returning. Thank you so much Ruth and Dean!
